Cookies and browser storage
Version 2026-10-10.1 · Draft for reviewCompany details, operational schedules and legal review must be completed before this document is published for acceptance.
Current application storage
DCS uses localStorage for its access token, account display data and active organisation. sessionStorage may hold an invitation token, an administrator session while using support mode, provisioning request keys and an unfinished order. These support authentication, invitation completion and avoiding duplicate actions. The server may issue a session cookie for authentication flows (up to 24 hours). Browser storage must be assessed by purpose, not just by whether it is called a cookie.
Preferences and duration
Theme and active-tab preferences are stored locally until cleared. Access tokens expire according to the authentication policy; local account/session keys are cleared by sign-out. Session storage normally lasts for the browser tab. Unfinished order data is removed after order creation. You can clear browser site data, but doing so may sign you out or discard an unfinished form.
Consent
Strictly necessary storage for a service you request does not require opt-in consent. DCS does not enable optional analytics or advertising tags through this module. Before adding any optional storage or tracking, DCS must inventory it, provide purpose-specific prior consent where required, offer an equally accessible rejection choice and support withdrawal. Third-party checkout and edge-provider behaviour must be verified before publication of this notice.
